The two large warehouses in the north-east of Fallow's Cross village are used to store goods and produce for the village. They are owned by the village as a central resource and storage space is allocated by the Mayor's Office. Over the years, several disputes have arisen as to the allocation of space, with some arguing that they do not get a fair share of the warehouse space or that so-and-so gets too much. As in all disputes in small communities like Fallow's Cross, they have occasionally over-spilled into punch-ups in the Inn after a few drinks.

There is a night watchman rota operated by all users of the warehouse to make sure nobody interferes with the storage facilities. Even this has caused arguments in the past, with A claiming B interfered with his storage while B was on night watch. It never ends. The main reason for the guard is against travellers through the village trying to raid the warehouses for supplies. It is the most frequent reason for the militia being called out outside of a Troll attack.
