Purchasing Spell Scrolls

No spell scroll may be bought without group consent unless it can be cast by a current Fallows Cross character. Any detrimental or harmful consequences that a spell would normally inflict on the caster e.g. ageing from a Wish or spell point loss from a Contingency will affect the scroll reader. Character that cannot suffer the penalty cannot use the scroll, so a mage with insufficient spell points to cast a 6th level spell could not cast Contingency from a scroll; but one with enough spell points could, but would lose that number of points until the Contingency was used up.

Spell scrolls can be purchased for (except as noted below):

1st to 3rd level spells are 100gp per level plus 200gp.

4th to 6th level spells are 500gp per level plus 500gp.

7th to 9th level spells are 1,000gp per level plus 1,000gp.
