Positive sightings have been made of the Whit Dragon mentioned 
yesterday.  It appears to have taken residence in caves east of 
Calimport and early reports are coming in of raids on road traffic.  
This region is still unstable, although the caravan route operated by 
industrious Calimport interests has been reasonably safe up until now.  
A reward for killing or driving off the creature has been mooted in 
some quarters.

A Demarche of Mask was found murdered near the docks yesterday 
morning.  A band of Northerners was seen leaving the area not long 
before the priest was found.  Many are saying this is a result of the 
recent infighting between the guilds.  Others claim it is a sign of 
the "violence of the uncivilised northern barbarians".  We will 
continue to report events.

A violent sandstorm is crossing the desert from near Memnon.  It is 
travelling very quickly and does not seem to be dissipating.  It is 
rumoured to be supernatural in origin - a Djinn out to cause trouble.

Confirmation today that the Sea Crane of Teshburl which caught fire 
and sank yesterday in the Ship's Graveyard.  Apparently the culprits 
are known and under investigation,  The owners of the vessel have 
lodged a formal complaint with the authorities and several witnesses 
have been produced.

The spectral Elf reported near Heaven's Lathe has now resorted to 
accosting Hard Currency girls.  Nobody knows what this means, but an 
investigator from the elven community has begun enquiries.

Tragedy has struck the Gnome Mines.  Arbuthnot Clawhand, High Priest 
of Garl Glittergold has been murdered by enemies within the Gnomish 
community.  His distraught wife has laid the blame simply at the feet 
of worshippers of the evil Gnomish god Urdlen.  The whole religious 
community of Calimport will mourn the loss of such a great character.  
It is a major setback in the ongoing conflict between the Gnomes and 
the vampires of Shadowland.



STOP PRESS:  Nightshade the Assassin has struck!  The victim was 
Nylaathria Silverspear, the High Priest of the Elf god Corellon 
Larethian.  It is believed the "hit" was sponsored by Drow and has 
something to do with the priestess of Eilistraee being sheltered in 
ElvenHaven.
